1967 Plymouth Fury I 2-door sedan with Police Package

PK21H7, Originally owned by the New Mexico State Police.

(Scroll down for more pictures.)

This car was originally owned by the New Mexico State Police and came from the factory with a 383 4-bbl (High Performance 330 horsepower), automatic, A/C and a 3.23:1 SureGrip axle.

I purchased the car in 2002 for a project, but my other projects took precedence and nothing got done on this one. It's time for this car to find a new home.

THIS IS A MAJOR PROJECT REQUIRING A FULL RESTORATION! Make no mistake, this is not a shine & flip project. I have a copy of the build record (IBM punchcard) from Chrysler Historical. It has a fender tag, but no broadcast sheet.

This will be a great car when finished. I'm hoping to find someone who will restore and enjoy such a rare vehicle.

I will sell it cheap to someone who has a track record of restoring rare cars. No discount for pirates.

If I have to part out this car, the following parts are already spoken for. Please don't ask for them unless you are making a ridiculously high offer:

Again, if you buy the whole car, all of the above are included with it.

If you're interested in the car, contact me through this site. I will consider all offers and will answer any questions you might have. I can send additional pictures to interested parties.

P.S. The FJ5 Super Bee in some pictures has already been sold.

Headlamp buckets missing, small dent in grille. Hood hinges are badly bent and cowl needs to be replaced (bolt-in part). Windshield is missing.

Overall the body is quite straight. Note the mounting hole on the A-pillar for factory spotlight. The gumball on the roof is gone.

Leese-Nevill 65-Amp alternator, voltage regulator and brackets.

Front driver's floor needs replacement. Power antenna switch can be seen on the kick panel.

Left quarter rust.

Bondo on top of right quarter panel.

383 with A/C and brackets. Power brake booster. Carb & intake were in the trunk when I bought the car. No air cleaner.

Frame rails appear to be OK.

Passenger floor needs to be replaced. There is no front seat. The battery and transmission are not for this car; there is no transmission or driveshaft. Note the thick electrical conduit running along the inside of the rocker panel. It leads to the trunk.

Right quarter.

Radio delete plate. Factory A/C vents in a police package.

Left quarter rust.

Left rocker panel.

Solid trunk floor.

Very small punture in the trunk floor.

Another view of the trunk floor.
